ACS National Meetings
GEOC participates in two national ACS meetings a year, preparing symposia for Geochemists. At each meeting, we award travel awards for early career geochemists and students interested in attending ACS meetings. We also award the GEOC medal biennially.
Awards and Nominations
Five Student Travel Awards have been awarded for the 253rd ACS Meeting in San Francisco. Joey Nelson was awarded best talk.
Three Student Travel Awards have been awarded for the 252rd ACS Meeting in Philadelphia.
Elections
As per our bylaws, prior to the fall national meeting of the ACS, the Executive Committee solicits nominations for candidates for offices that shall be open for election in that year.
